If you look in the dictionary, a "hub" is designed as: "a center around which other things revolve or from which they radiate; a focus of activity." For Kingsway, "The Hub" is our online connection point; a place where each of us - as part of the Kingsway community - can communicate with our life groups, see and manage our team members, check-in our kids for a service, and give online.
Our goal is to launch "The Hub" church-wide on June 1, 2014. We've been working since January to set it up as our church database. Maybe you've even noticed links for The Hub on our web site? Over the next several weeks, we will communicate to you all you need to know to be a part of The Hub. Meanwhile, we will also introduce The Hub to ministry leaders, train our check-in volunteers on the new check-in process and solidify all of the steps needed to insure the launch of The Hub is a success.
On June 1, you'll be invited (via email) to join The Hub where you will be able to:
There may be other options available as well, as our familiarity and knowledge of The Hub grows.
We think we've found a simple, all-in-one solution for managing key components of our church family as we grow. We know it will take time to learn, but we truly believe The Hub is a powerful tool to help the church staff and team leaders serve you better.
Blessings, Pastor Arlena
